ah finally caught up. very intriguing scifi so far!! I’m really enjoying the character writing too, Luca is a fav of mine so far

And thank you for giving Luca the appreciation she deserves. That little old lady needs more love!! One of the parts I didn’t realize I’d love as much as I did was writing her growing friendship with Leon. I had much of the Big Idea Plot Stuff figured out before starting, but those two really provided a lot of the Heart the series needed.
