ooh i like how well youve shown clearly what this mysterious substance can do, nice work. its often tough to show stuff like that with panels and not animation but you did it well!
ooooh ominous, really intriguing first chapter 🤔 I like that ultimately Leon’s self-centered belief in himself is part of why he agrees to help, like “wow, these people are hopeless”. I find the ethical questions brought up thru context and by Luca’s presence in the story to also be interesting, I’m curious what the Foundations’ “perfect world” entails, and who gets to be in it.
I had a sense of Leon being incredibly confident – which would only be bolstered by Trinity talking him up in this chapter – which I thought paired brilliantly with him genuinely having lots of concerns for this future world, as well as recognizing that Trinity isn’t giving the whole truth. He’s a good kid!
As for the Foundations? Well… we’ll just have to see, won’t we?
